Community Party Saturday

A Community Party, sponsored by the Pana Police Department, will feature free food and fun for the whole family on Saturday, July 24. The party is from 1:00-6:00 p.m. in Pana’s Kitchell Park.

Children, parents, grandparents and adults are welcome to attend. Those 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older. Prizes and certificates will be given away during the party.

A cookout featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans and soft drinks will be served from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

A variety of activities include a Kid’s Water Park (be sure to wear swimsuits and bring towels) are planned. The Community Party is a way to show youth there is a way to have fun without alcohol or drugs.

Parking will be on the north soccer field and everyone must register in the Chautauqua Pavilion. All participants will receive a numbered wristband good for a drawing for a number of prizes. The drawings will be held at 5:30 p.m.
