Out In Left Field: July 20, 2010

Last Saturday, about mid-morning, I was standing in my backyard, thinking about cutting the grass.

Was going through my mind of what I needed to – pick up, trimming to do, raking, etc. – then, I had a better thought. Thought I would go inside and watch the British Open golf tournament on TV.

Turned out to be a much better option.

Still relishing the National League win in the All-Star game last Tuesday.

Have been waiting a long time for that one. Happy to see the Nationals get back on track. This win has been a long time coming. Come to think of it, this was the first National League win in the All-Star Game this century!
